The extensions we provide are ethically sourced from single donors who willingly sell their hair, ensuring fair compensation. The single donor collection method guarantees natural flow, zero tangling, and matting.

Many extensions lack a cuticle due to harsh processing methods like acid baths. This damages the hair's integrity, resulting in dull, unmanageable extensions with a short lifespan. The extensions we provide have gone through gentle techniques, preserving the cuticle for healthy, strong, and lustrous extensions without silicone coatings that offer only temporary benefits.

You get extensions that are ethically sourced, single donor, and free from damaging chemicals or coatings (like silicone), ensuring a high-quality, long-lasting investment in your hair's beauty!

Hair extension appointments are charged by the row of hair extensions used. We have two types of extension installations:

  • This is the hottest extension method on the market!

    This method incorporates a stitching pattern and new placement for hand-tied wefts so that the beads are undetectable and there is less tension. It creates maximum length and fullness with zero damage, even for the most fine hair. This method also allows for you to go longer between maintenance appointments (6-9 weeks). It’s also the perfect method for our active girlies who put their hair up often!

    There are no adhesives and no need for major haircuts on the extensions during your maintenance appointments so you get to keep the length of your extensions as long as possible for their life span.

  • This method is similar to the method above and also one of the most popular options today. It uses silicone beads where the wefts are placed and sewn onto to create a full look. However, the beads are harder to cover up when the hair is styled in a ponytail.

    A Regular Install is as follows, the first row is $150+, the second row an additional $100+ is added and a mini row is $50+.

  • 1. Consultation

    We go over the cost of hair + install service. We talk about colour matching. We go over maintenance appointments, a commitment to Aveda products and proper extension care at home. Our consultations are $25. This fee goes toward the balance of your installation service when you book your appointment. When you book we require a 50% non-refundable retainer.

  • 2. Installation day!

    Soooo exciting!! Installing hair extensions can take anywhere from 2 - 6 hours. During this appointment we book your maintenance appointments. We go over the proper care for your extensions and which Aveda products you will be using.

  • 3. Maintenance

    You will need to come into the salon every 6 - 9 weeks for the maintenance of your extensions. The extensions will need to be adjusted. We always recommend an in salon treatment with all of our services! You may also need other services like a cut and colour or tone.

  • We use Philocaly Hair extensions which are real strands hair, ethically sourced, Crafted from the highest quality Remy and single-donor human hair and processed using no harsh chemicals or acid baths. Hair extensions are attached to your natural hair to add length, volume, or thickness.

  • The lifespan of hair extensions depends on the type of extensions and how well they are cared for. Extensions can last from 6 to 12 months with proper maintenance.

  • Yes, you can style your hair as you would with natural hair. You can curl, straighten, or blow-dry hair extensions, but it's important to use heat protectant products and avoid excessive heat to prolong their lifespan.

  • When installed and maintained properly, hair extensions should not cause damage to your natural hair. However, improper installation, frequent use of heat styling tools, or neglecting proper care routines can lead to damage. Many times, our clients find that their hair gets healthier and grows out better with extensions!

  • We use genius wefts and hand-tied wefts that we sew into your hair.

  • Yes, you can wash your hair with extensions, but it's essential to use sulfate-free and extension-safe shampoos and conditioners. Avoid washing hair too frequently and be gentle when detangling to prevent tangling or matting.

  • It's crucial to match the color of the extensions to your natural hair for a seamless blend. We always do a full consultation to find the perfect match and colour you are looking for.

  • Yes, you can swim and exercise with hair extensions, but it's essential to take precautions to protect them. Using a leavein conditioner is great when swimming. Tie your hair up in a bun or braid during exercise to prevent tangling and minimize exposure to chlorine or sweat.

  • Keep your hair extensions clean and untangled by taking time to care for them every day.

    Do not comb or brush your hair extensions when they are wet.

    Never sleep with wet hair extensions. Always make sure the hair is dry and pulled up or braided to keep the hair from tangling at night.

    Brush the extensions with a hair extension brush several times a day. Be sure to brush properly, holding the roots to prevent pulling on the bonds or wefts.

    Use a high quality sulphate free shampoo and conditioner to keep the tabs from slipping and the hair extensions in good condition.

    Never lighten the hair extensions. If you want to colour hair extensions only go within 2 shades darker.

    When using heat tools be sure to use a heat protection spray. The more heat tools you use heat on your hair, the shorter the life-span of the hair extensions.

    Do not use a flat iron directly on tape tabs. This will weaken the bonds and they will slip out.

    Exercising with Philocaly Hair extensions will not damage your extensions.

    10. Avoid excessive chlorine exposure as it can dry out and damage the hair extensions. Occasional chlorine exposure is okay.

    When using conditioner, condition from mid-shaft to ends only. Do not apply conditioner to your scalp when wearing hair extensions.

    Philocaly hair is real human hair and will get split ends just like your hair does. Trim those ends, ladies!

    Every 8-10 weeks, your hair extensions will need to be reapplied to move the bonds/wefts closer to the scalp and to keep your hair healthy.
